About the Mountsorrel United Charities
 
The Mountsorrel United Charities was set up in 1874 and consists of two main charities;

The Charities owned land, some of which was sold and the money invested to provide an income. This money is used now to distribute to residents of Mountsorrel who are in need. There are sixteen Trustees, who meet 8 times a year to manage the Funds.

Relief in Need Fund

The aim of the fund is to provide grants to the residents of Mountsorrel who are in need, such as domestic appliances, decorating, carpeting, mobility needs, Footcare Service, Gardening Service etc.

 

The Trustees meet twice a year to offer grants to the younger residents of Mountsorrel.
